These are the plans for my school magazine contents page

Furthermore within the contents page I will also include some information regarding the school such as contact details etc.

Next I will use secondary images partnered and anchored with captions in order to entice and intrigue the target audience.

Additionally I also intend on using a rather interesting and slightly confusing image for my main image because it will make the reader think and intrigue them causing them to read the rest of the magazine.

Much like the front cover I also intend to use the schools logo within my contents page, it will be located in the top right hand corner of the screen and in my opinion I believe that it furthers the professionalism of the magazine because it appears consistently.

Finally I intend to use a seriff text type for the contents page title because in my opinion it looks professional and sophisticated and I think that this will also reflect upon the school as an institution of professionalism.

These are my initial design plans for my soon to be created school magazine contents page, I may not apply all of these ideas to my final production however I will use it as the foundation for the design of my magazine contents page.

Firstly I will include all of the main features of the magazine within this part of the contents page in order to inform the reader of the articles within the magazine.

Secondly I will include a free subscription message and details so that readers can sign up and get the newest issues as they are released.

Thirdly I will also include a 'regulars' section within my contents page, in order to allow loyal readers to find the 'regulars' that they are used to.

Moreover I will also feature an editor's welcoming message in order to make the readers feel welcome as they turn the page which could make them want to read further into the magazine. As well as make the magazine appear professional.

In addition I intend to add a small space separating one third of the page from the other two thirds and then filling this space with the different page numbers relating to articles within the magazine in order to make it easy to read, understand and navigate.
